Cairngorms 1st May / Troup head / Fowlsheugh
After the venture out on 30th April for the Ptarmigan my body couldnt take no more, clambering around Applecross that day reminded me that I am 40 and no longer 20,,, aches, pains, bruised shins and snow down my trousers! Friday the 1st I did very little, I went to see the Dippers for the last time, cleaned the cottage and just plodded about, I was due to leave by 10am the next morning.
I left the cottage at 6am and headed for the west coast on my journey home. It was time to photo a few seabirds, Troup head first then off to Fowlsheugh. Gannets, Razorbills, Fulmar, Puffin, Guillemots and Kittiwake , I wish now I spent a bit more time photographing the Kittiwake,,,,looking through my pics of them I didnt end up with too much decent :-(
Anyhow, had a brilliant time, would definitley do it again. Looking forward to the Isle of Mull early next year, it's booked and paid for already. Bring it on!!! I am ready already :-)
And thats about it, I think there are a few more pics about my hard drives, Skylarks and Meadow and Rock Pipits. I'm sure to add them to the main gallery when I come across them.
